Still in Los Angeles where they are recording their fourth studio album, Jedward surprised their fans by announcing they will perform in a special concert on April 20, at Dublin’s renowned Olympia Theatre.

Famous among Jedward fans because the Twins have starred for the past four years in the Olympia’s panto, the venue has also played host to such luminaries in the music world as Brian May, David Bowie, Radiohead, and REM.

John and Edward have been keeping a low profile in LA, but it is believed they attended Monday’s “The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles“.  They were photographed chatting with friend Ed Sheeran, who had performed at the event.  Ed later tweeted, “Hanging out with JEDWARD now. Jepic“.

Jedward can currently be seen on UK TV headlining their popular children’s history programme, “Jedward’s Big Adventure“.  It screens 4.30pm on CBBC for the remainder of this week.

Tickets for their Olympia gig go on sale Friday 31 January via Ticketmaster and the Olympia’s Box Office.

“The Night That Changed America:  A Grammy Salute to the Beatles” will be broadcast in the US on CBS on February 9.  It is not known if it will be shown in the UK.
